☀️ Operation Chill… at the Pool! 🏊♂️
As part of our ongoing participation in Operation Chill, North Syracuse Police officers hand out free Small Slurpee® coupons to youth we see doing good deeds or exhibiting positive behavior while on patrol. 👮♀️
But with temperatures nearing 100° today, we decided to take a different approach—heading to the Kennedy Park Pool to share some cool rewards and cooler conversations.
The kids (and lifeguards!) were excited, and our visit helped strengthen relationships while also contributing to a safe and fun environment at the pool.
A huge thank you to 7-Eleven Corporate for continuing to include us in this awesome program. We’re proud to be a department that builds bridges between the police and youth in our neighborhoods—one Slurpee at a time! 🍧💙
