The Criminal Investigations Division consists of two Investigators. This unit is responsible for conducting follow-up investigations on all major crimes occurring in the jurisdiction of the village, including but not limited to, burglary, larceny, robbery, forgery, assault, arson, homicide and other crimes involving extensive follow-up. The Investigators also analyzes crime patterns to formulate a plan of action to combat recurring crime in our Village.
The Investigators in addition to supplementing road patrol at times also continuously works closely with other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to bring criminal investigations to a successful conclusion.
