New York State Accreditation
The Administration of the Police Department is responsible for ensuring that all department policies and procedures are in compliance with the standards set by New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services. The accreditation program has long been recognized as a means of maintaining the highest standards of training and professionalism. The North Syracuse Police Department was originally accredited by New York State in 1995 and reaccredited in 2015, and 2020. Our next reaccreditation for New York State will be in 2025.
