The Property Services Division is led by Lt. Zachary Misztal. Lt. Zachary Misztal is New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services certified for Property / Evidence Room Management. This certification is granted after attending the NYS DCJS Property / Evidence Room Management course which focuses on several items such as staffing and ethics, access and security, evidence custody, storage of property and evidence, policies and procedures, inspections, audits, and inventories, as well as purging and disposition of property and evidence. Lt. Misztal is responsible for the receipt, control, safekeeping, release, and eventual disposition of physical property and evidence.
